It is early in the season but here are our show dates:

May 5 & 6 Golden Opportunity at Bridle Creek Horse Ranch, Sperry

May 26 - 28 Memorial Circuit at Chickasha

Sept. 1 - 3 Go For The Gold Futurity at Claremore Expo, Claremore, Ok

Sept 28 - 30 Classic at Chickasha

November 24 - 25 Golden Gobbler Circuit at Chickasha

*Show Rules *

The Show Committee reserves the Right to Cancel any Class, Change the Show Schedule or Show Location at Any Time.
Classes with less than three (3) Entries may be combined at the discretion of the Show Officials. Exceptions: Lead line, Walk Trot, and Novice Youth. A Two (2) Minute Gate will be strictly enforced. Advise the Gate person of a tack change. OPEA exhibitor back numbers are required or Disqualification may be enforced at the Judges Discretion. A copy of PHBA Horse Registration papers must accompany entries and PHBA ID Membership cards for the OWNER & EXHIBITOR. Halter Classes should be entered by Fifteen (15) minutes prior to the show start time. Entries must be submitted with a signed check (on Tab), or Cash to the Show Secretary. After TWO (2) Insufficient Fund Checks, A CASH ONLY basis is required. OPEA adheres to PHBA Rules in regards to Registration and Ownership Guidelines.
AWARDS RULES: Exhibitor or a Representative must complete Three (3) Work Segments at any two (2) Circuits.  OPEA Circuits are Labor Day Circuit, Gold River Classic Circuit, and Thanksgiving Circuit. This requirement is Per Horse, for YEAR END AWARDS, the OWNER and EXHIBITOR MUST both be members of OPEA/PHBA.

2011 OPEA Circuit Awards

All-Around & Class Circuit Award Rules for 2011
** Owners & Exhibitors must both be Members of OPEA to receive All-Around & Class Circuit Awards.
** Each Class Must be Shown All Three Days or Two Days, if Applicable.
** Open, Junior & Senior Divisions * Must Show All Three Days in Halter or Color and Two (2) Performance Classes. Or Two Days, if Applicable.
** Amateur and Youth Divisions * Must Show All Three Days in Showmanship and Two (2) Performance Classes. Same Exhibitor and Horse Combination. Or Two Days, If Applicable.
** Exception: If class is cancelled at the Gate, and you are checked in at the gate, Eligibility will be fulfilled.
